Link analytics · clicks & QR scans

Link analytics: see who clicks your links and where they come from

A link you cannot measure is a guess. Every 2a.qa short link, bio page and QR code records its clicks, so you can tell which post, poster or campaign actually brought people in — and which one did not.

Free to start · export or erase your data any time

What each click tells you

  • Country — where your visitors are, from Qatar to the rest of the GCC and beyond.
  • Device, operating system and browser — phone, tablet or desktop; iOS, Android or Windows.
  • Referrer — the site or app the visitor came from.
  • Source — whether the visit came from the link itself or from a scan of its QR code.
  • Time — clicks over the last 7, 30 or 90 days, on Qatar time.

Real people, not bots

Link-preview bots, crawlers and scripts open links too. 2a.qa recognises a long list of them and leaves them out of your charts, so the numbers you see are visits by people. Repeated rapid-fire events from one address are capped, so nobody can inflate your counts with a script.

Analytics for your bio page and wallet pass

The same measurement covers your bio page — views and clicks on each link, with your own visits excluded — and every scan of your Apple Wallet pass's QR code. Dashboards refresh about once a minute.

Privacy built in

You see statistics, never your visitors' IP addresses or raw device strings, and individual click records are deleted after 90 days. You can export the aggregated numbers as CSV files, and export or erase all of your account data yourself, in line with Qatar's PDPL. Developers can also receive a signed webhook for every click.

How to start tracking clicks

  1. 1Shorten a link (or create your bio page) on 2a.qa.
  2. 2Share it — or print its QR code.
  3. 3Open the link's statistics to see clicks by country, device, source and day.
  4. 4Compare campaigns and keep the ones that work.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see which city my clicks come from?

No. 2a.qa reports clicks by country, not by city.

Are QR code scans counted separately?

Yes. QR codes made in 2a.qa carry a marker, so scans are reported apart from direct clicks on the same link.

Do bots count as clicks?

No. Known bots and link-preview crawlers are filtered out of your statistics.

Can I export my statistics?

Yes. The aggregated statistics can be downloaded as CSV files.

Are link analytics free?

Yes. Starting is free, and during the launch period every feature is free — there are no paid plans to buy today.
